Hotjar script is blocked by complianz, regardless of consent

    We have an issue on one of our sites where the script for hotjar, not matter how it’s added (in the theme or using the script centre), the script is not unblocked by Complianz after all cookies including marketing are accepted.

    The script has the type attribute set to text/plain and class cmplz-script. As a result, the script is not running and hotjar is not tracking properly. Any suggestions on what we can do resolve this?

    Could you share your URL? Is Hotjar enabled under Integrations – Services?

    Hi @aahulsebos thanks for the reply. The site is https://bristolwastecompany.co.uk/. Currently the script is added in the theme and it is enabled under Integrations – Services.

    Hi @brychanmd,

    In the page source, nothing will change, so it will always be text/plain, in the console, you will find it will be text/javascript and hotjar is loaded.

    I do see a feedback module after consent, so this looks like it’s going as planned, cookies are set as well.
