• Hi

I would like to host my existing wordpress website to a web hosting provider. But I do like to be able to make changes to the website remotely before it is visible to public.

    1) Can I publish the website with temporary domain name and transfer to a permanent domain name once the site is ready to be visited by public?

    2) Would setting the site to private on WP admin portal be a good way to make sure public can’t view it yet?

    3) How can I enable access only to hosted admin part of the hosted wordpress website rather than actual website (resolved by point 2 above?) ?

    4) The login on the localhost instance is insecure. How can one secure the WP admin login with SSL? I want only site admins and dev team members to access the admin portal.

I would go with a webhosting provider that supports wordpress installation and server stack. I will register the domain name and publish my WP site once my queries are cleared.

I have gone with the package from www.remarpro.com because I wanted more control in customizing the website also its source code.
