Hosting wordpress on my own server – cannot view pages, just directory list

Hi There,

I have a client that has installed wordpress on their own server, the installation went fine, but I cannot just type the domain + directory into the browser to view the site – I can only view the directory list. After I choose to view the index.php file, everything looks great – but then when I click on a link and it tries to pull a page from the database all I can see is the directory list again.

I’m not familiar with in-house servers – how do you fix this???
