Hosting Unix or Windows Platform

  • Hello,

    I am in the process of sorting out my hosting for a blog and one of the questions the hosting company have asked is would I like the hosting platform to be Unix or Windows based. I am very new to WordPress (with limited technical skills) and would appreciate anyones thoughts on which option to go for.

  • Save yourself a WHOLE lot of grief – go Unix!
    Install will be easier and trouble free and site will run smoother and faster.
