    Hello,

It is quite annoying to experience such a thing, we work at an agency and were managing Blog for one of our clients…and the shitty hosting service lost it all…they said that they are trying to recover as much data as possible but it still does not seem to work.

Here is the Blog that I am talking about: https://blog.seismografics.de/

Does anyone know how can we restore it? Is there possibility to recover the website back? Does WordPress has some feature that allows us to recover the data?

Please help, much appreciated you spending your time reading this.

Do you have any recent database backups?

Like on a separate hard drive? No. Well, no backups. We were expecting hosting service provider to do it, nightmare to discover that they didn’t do it.

Not as such. A database backup is a single file – sometimes compressed in a .zip or .gzip archive form. It is always recommended that you store at least some recent backups offline just for this kind of eventuality. As a rule, hosting companies often expect you to protect your content yourself – they just look after the servers.

As it stands, I’m afraid you’re going to have to wait and see what your hosts can recover for you. In the meantime, you might want to have a look at WordPress_Backups so that you can secure your content in future.

Sorry I couldn’t offer more in the way of direct help. ??
