hosting podcasts

Hi Everyone, I am extremely new hear and I couldn’t find anything in the search. I am seeking a podcast solution for my site and was wondering if wordpress can handle the job. My current site has a podcast section that is rather a pain. The user must upload a podcast and fill out all the necessary tag information as well as an image to successfully add a podcast to my site. Seeing how everyone has a host now days that supplies the podcaster with an rss feed I would like to simply get away from my current setup and seek a solution that allows a user to simply input their feed and allow whatever solution I find to read and pull data from the feed, much like this site https://www.everypodcast.com/add.php

Is it possible for wordpress to do this? Does anyone have any idea what might be able to do this?
