    I’ve been experiencing poor service from my hosting provider and questioned the uptime or rather downtime I’ve been experiencing. They’ve accepted that I’ve not received an adequate service but as for what they are suggesting could someone please try and figure out what they’re offering as I’m at a loss…..any help much appreciated

    “this is to write something about the poor service of the last days. We have been implementing a new infrastructure in this time in order not to just move you to another server, but a different network offering possibly better manageable resources.

    In an effort to provide you with the best service we can give, I would move your account to this network unless otherwise specified. The process shouldn’t take more than a couple of days max and will possibly involve change of name servers, which we can also take care of.

    Please advise or let me know of any thought. We can still import the account and wait before switching.”

    They’re simply moving your web space to a different server, your site will be unavailable for a couple of days during this move. You’ll also need to change your domain nameservers but apparently they can take care of this, I assume they’re also your domain registrar to be able to do this, if they’re not then you can easily do this yourself but this may involve a further day of downtime.

    If you have any other questions I would direct them to your hosts as this is a WordPress-specific forum.
