Ok, so I want to try hosting my blog on 000webhost just to start out.

How would I go about hosting my blog since I’m using the .wordpress subdomain (techc0re.wordpress.com)? I don’t want to buy a real domain. I can’t access the installation once I upload the needed files because I can’t find the index page that shows the link to the installation.

    Is this possible?

Also, I set up a completely new install of a new blog. Would it be possible to control my current blog from that install?

WordPress.com blogs are hosted at WordPress.com. You cannot host a WordPress.com blog elsewhere.

you will need to set up your new blog with either a URL provided by 000webhost or a proper domain. You can import content exported from a WordPress.com blog.

WordPress.com support is at https://en.support.wordpress.com if you require further clarification about why it won’t work.

But i’ll lose all my stats and such from my original blog if I set up a new one.

Your stats, yes. And you would need to buy a domain name.

You can install WordPress from your cPanel fantastico. You just need to buy wordpress hosting and use it for your blog.
