Hosting company telling me Wordfence cause ht.acsess internal 500 error

Not sure what they mean. Can you email it to samples 9at0 wordfence.com? Make sure and reference this post url in it.

Weird. We only add our code at the top of the file and it looks like what’s on this page:

Can you email the changed file to samples [at] wordfence.com so I can look at it?

Thanks, i was going to try that but honestly im blaming our host. THey suck. Dotster. I think we will switch hosting companies. we’ve had other issues.

Do you know if this would also cause connection limits to be in the high number?

Not sure right off. What exactly do you mean about connection limits? Is your site being hit with bots repeatedly or something?
