Hosting company for WordPress and Google Apps

  • Hi guys.

    I need a good hosting company that offers me unlimited bandwidth and a good hard disk space and that allow me to connect to external SMTP servers (such as smtp.google.com).

    I’m hosted on Godaddy but they don’t allow me to use Google Apps (I can’t use external SMTP servers). Do you know similar companies that allow me to use Google Apps?

  • I used godaddy for WordPress, with Google apps for years. I just pointed my MX records to googles….

    I just jumped ship to bluehost…. everything works there too….

    yes sure but you can’t use the SMTP server with PHP (for example using phpmailer).

    The MX records are already linked to Google

    You can’t use plugins like WP Mail SMTP with GoDaddy if you haven’t a VPS.

    Although we cannot endorse them, there are some hosts listed here. Also searching the forums using the keywords “host” or “hosting” may provide you with some suggestions. However, due to the amount of spam that these topics attract, I’m afraid I will have to close this one.
