hosting and installation questions

  • I wonder if someone could tell me if this hosting service would be compatible with wordpress:

    https://www.serve360.com/hostingproducts.asp

    It’s the web starter package.

    If it is, once I’ve signed up, getting started is it mainly just a case of uploading the file to the server and tweeking.

    I also don’t really understand how you choose a user name and password? Are those specific to my word press blog or relative to all of wordpress?

    The random login and password? Is it just specific to your blog? If it is I take it it can be changed?

    Oh…… the login is ALWAYS admin (all lower case) but the random digits pw is just that – random. Yes it is easily changed.

    Ask your host if they have ‘phpmyadmin’ – it will make life easier if they say yes ??
