Hosting

  • I have my site hosted with Bluehost.com At wp recommendation. The site is horrorably slow to load when it does load. Often on the text loads. Anyone having trouble with this hosting company? The last time I sent a email to tech support it took 2 dqays for them to get back to me. AGH!

  • first load took a bit to grab the 30K header, two 19K images, grab the css, etc.

    from then on, load times are fraction of a second. wp reports like a tenth-of-a-second to do its part.

    Its not wordpress, I’d guess its the host, they aren’t particularly large images and they should load more quickly than this.

    I just loaded your site as quick as any other.

    Thanks for taking a look. I’m pretty sure it isn’t a wp prob. Just trying to determine if it is going to be a continuing prob with host company
