Host shut down, can't access anything!

  • Hi guys.

    Forgive my ignorrance but unfortunately and abruptly my hosting package has completely shut down and are not replying to any emails that I send.

    Because of this I can’t access my cPanel nor my WordPress admin page therefore I am locked out of my WordPress.

    Can anyone help?

  • If your hosting is shut down, I’m sorry to say that there’s nothing WordPress can do to help you. No one here has access to your site or server. Do you know what’s going on with the host?

    No idea regarding the host. No replies at all.

    Wow, that really sucks :(. Who is it? I don’t suppose you have a backup of your site someplace else?

    That happened to me for a while during a localized power outage several months ago. Check the news in their area to see whether anything like that might be going on.

    I would also hit their Facebook and Twitter feeds and see if something is up. I had a host “crash” for two weeks once. Didn’t know what was going on until I visited their Facebook page.
