Host server timing out

    That’s the error message in the error log. It seems to be the issue but I’m not sure what to do about it.

    I have my blog loaded in a sub-folder /blog. I thought it might be a problem with the index. php and the .htaccess

    Do you still have the same problem if you switch to the Twenty Fourteen theme?

    If you can’t access your Dashboard, access your server via FTP or SFTP, navigate to /wp-content/themes/ and rename the directory of your currently active theme. This will force the Twenty Fourteen theme to activate.
