Host Server no CURl

    I’m new to this, just looking for info and clarification.

    The server hosting my website doesn’t support CURL and doesn’t support SSL on more then one domain.

    The server is owned by a family member so it’s hosted for free and it’s used for his business and not as a hosting company.

    Will WooCommerce still work for me?

  • Hi MrBishopM,

    If you are asking if you can run Woocommerce without cURL .. sure. Processing payments may be a problem though as Payment gateways (and other plugin for that matter), can use cURL to communicate with remote servers to authorize payments. I would personally look for a host that does support cURL. Those that don’t support cURL aren’t suitable for eCommerce sites anyway. Just a thought.
