Host locked out -> access a file that does not exist
-
Hi
I just received nothing less but 205 emails from iThemes Security saying the following:
A host, 72.51.33.47, has been locked out of the WordPress site at https://mysite.dk?utm_source=email&utm_medium=email due to too many attempts to access a file that does not exist.
The host has been locked out permanently .
*This email was generated automatically by iThemes Security. To change your email preferences please visit the plugin settings. What I don’t understand is the URL. What does this mean: utm_source=email&utm_medium=email ? What file did this person or bot try to access and why? And most importantly, how do I stop this from happening again?
Hope you can help
Thanks
