• My whole site is deleted. I did not delete it. The customer service at hostinger previously said they had a backup but now they don’t. They say they didn’t delete my files but I don’t believe them. I did not download an offline backup. Is it gone forever? Can I recover it a different way? How can they just delete my backup?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

This is also the case with a site I transferred over Daniel318.com. Once I transferred it the files were gone.

If the files and database are gone, then its gone. You may be able to recover some of the content if your site was archived in the “wayback machine” at archive.org.

Wow that’s very unfortunate and frustrating.

Unfortunately if you don’t have a backup of the files then it’s up to Hostinger to try and resolve it.

Maybe ask Hostinger if they keep logs of changes to the site. The logs might be able to give you an idea of what could have happened.

If you manage to get the site back, or with any future sites, I would recommend a plugin like All-in-One WP Migration to keep a local backup.
