• This plugin can’t be used anymore. Luckily I carelessly updated only one site to v.3. I don’t even want to revert, instead looking for an alternative.

I’m sorry to hear that, I wrote a recap about the 3.0 release and will certainly admit that some things went wrong.

At the same time it’s working fine on tens of thousands of sites, so if you’re having issues we’d really like to hear what they are so we can try to fix them!

Thank you. No. Point of no return. Despite I’m thankful for your plugin, I moved away from it about a year or two ago, because I didn’t like its not WP look. Only four of my older sites still use it. Although, I confess, it was probably the most complete and the best SEO plugin. A year ago I would be totally fine with a paid version if it had clean admin.

    Hi @mikeei,

Almost a year has passed since your review. We’ve made a ton of changes to Yoast SEO and would like to invite you to give the plugin a new try.

The plugin is becoming more and more modular, you can just disable the parts you don’t like. Don’t want Yoast SEO to be in your admin bar? Hide it. Don’t want the Yoast SEO content analysis? Disable it. It’s all possible now

If you want to learn more about the plugin before installing it, we feel our knowledge base is the best place to start.

    Thanks!
