  • This one word un-review is not helpful & not a review. You don’t add any valuable feedback on what is “Chaotic!” or what could change. If you give a plugin one star at least say something of the pros and cons of why. This does nothing to contribute back to the WordPress community.

Hello – product manager from Google here. Thanks for trying the plugin and thanks for your feedback! Could you go to the plugin settings page and submit any additional information via the “Send Feedback” link? That way, we can securely investigate your domain and AdSense account and diagnose your problem.

    Thanks!

Well said Verious! What’s with all the 1 star non-review reviews of this. Looking for helpful information about what’s good and bad and the 1 star reviews are mostly support questions or comments like this…

Verious/Jon, whether you like it or not, a one star review IS a review, a bad one, but a review. I dont know if you guys work for Google but it looks like it by the way you got offended. Anyone can give a 1 star review and just say they dont like it, nothing says you have to provide full support or fill in a questionaire, just give a star review from 1 to 5, easy as that. And your comments help as much as Karthikeyan’s, that is: nothing. On the other hand myksmith’s reply seems the only helpful one around here, firstly appreciating Karthikeyan for testing a beta product and then asking (nicely) for full feedback on a specific link.

Personally, I’ve installed the plugin on wordpress and when I click on GetStarted I get a 400 error page. My cookies are enabled so I have no clue where the error is coming from.

    Hi all,

Google will try to engage with users when there’s an issue; we will attempt to make it obvious who we are to the WordPress support community.

erlidaz, if you can submit a feedback via the form in the plugin – if you haven’t already – we’ll be happy to investigate. The 400 errors are related to some edge cases that we couldn’t flush out before deployment, and we’d love to address them.

    Thanks!

myksmith, Reasons for the one star/one word review and why it is disappointing:

      1. I’m forced to deliver my site in https so that your plugin would work fine. (My admin panel is through https and my site is not)
      2. I didn’t find any useful integration as I expected… (As I’m unable to manage the ads, all I have left is a link to the adsense reports and webmaster tools (which I’ve verified already)

Verious B. Smith III, I get your point! But review is something that I feel, and in this case, I just expressed my disappointment and I had nothing else to say when I reviewed it. Thank you for your suggestion by the way ??

Jon Brown, I’m sorry that I wasn’t able to provide you with the proper information. But I hope you’ve checked the other reviews too. ??

erlidaz, Thanks and I admit that my review is a bad one.

myksmith, I apologize if you and your team behind this plugin are offended by this. But still, I’m disappointed with this plugin and nothing is going to change my views.

I’d like to reinstall the plugin as soon as the https issue is fixed ??

See, THAT’S a better review than just “Chaotic!” ??

No worries – thanks for the information, and no offense taken. We don’t think it’s fully ready for everyone; that’s why we intentionally gave it the version “0.1.0”, and in the meantime we love the feedback. We’re aware of the issues you mentioned, some of which only became obvious to us after the release; even at Google, one can never test as well as the market can. We will deliver improvements over time.

BTW, I appreciate the vitality of the WordPress community. Thank you for your feedback.
