Horrible layout & slow loading caused by Advanced preset?

    Hi

    I’ve had an issue develop this last couple of days with a few websites, and the common factor was using the Advanced preset.

    On first load (for a new visitor) the site layouts initially look horrible, with bits missing and over sized icons, all sorts of stuff … after a few seconds delay the site proceeds to load correctly. Refreshing the page was fine, the issue only recurred when clearing the browser cache.

    I’ve disabled the plug in entirely whilst I decide what to do.

    The sites have been running Advanced for months, this seemed to go wrong this week.

    please provide the report number

    you can get it in toolbox -> report -> click “send to LiteSpeed”

    Thank you, I have just done that.

    I can recreate the problem using Firefox in Private mode.

    I will leave Advanced preset on for a couple of hours, in case you are looking at it, but I will need to switch it off later due to this issue.

    Hi, just to let you know I have deactivated the plug in, but can activate it again if you need to have a look at the issue, which is still there when activated.

    Try going to page optimisation settings > CSS Settings> generate UCSS > OFF

    I got similiar issues, where my theme layout got damaged, but mostly in guest /incognito mode

    I found that with my theme it just didn’t work.

    Also other settings I found broke my site – General settings > Guest Mode > OFF

    Both will cause your google score to be lower, but a broken site is of no use!

    @tecazwebdev – thanks for the tip, unfortunately I think this runs deeper than that.

    @litetim – any update? Even the basic and essentials presets are causing this issue, the only way to get rid of it is to deactivate the plug in entirely.

    please try go to page optm -> css -> ccss per uri , set it to ON , and then purge all

    That made no difference I’m afraid, it still has the issue. The default preset is working, and Basic seems OK too. But Advanced is the problem. I am happy with default or Basic but would be good to have this resolved at some point if possible.

    okay… advanced will enable quite some options , let’s try the old fashion way

    please go to Page Optm , and disable the options under each tab one by one , see which one causes issue, then we will see what to do next
