horizontal submenu please!

There is no such thing as a “default WordPress menu”. Your site’s menu is controlled by your current theme.

thanks Esmi for the clarification. I just meant I’m not using any kind of menu plug-in, just the menu from the wordpress admin area. I’m new to wordpress and don’t know the correct terminology for everything.
Do you happen to know a solution for me?

thanks Esmi, I can add custom css within my theme to change my menu’s look but do not know enough to figure out how to make it horizontal. Without custom css there are only options to make the main menu vertical or horizontal. I have also asked this question on the forum for the theme I’m using – headway.

I can also install a plugin, but don’t need all the bells and whistles that many of the menu plugins provide. This menu only has 6 main tabs, and 8-10 tabs on the submenu.

Since I’m so new to wordpress I thought I would reach out on this very useful forum and see if I could get a recommendation on a very easy-to-use plugin or input on the custom css to make my submenu horizontal.

I see so many helpful posts from you Esmi, I was hoping you or another forum member would have any information that could help me. I sure would appreciate it. thanks

I’m sorry but as you are using a commercial theme, you need to seek support from the theme’s vendors.
