• Hello!

My apologies if this has been asked before, but I didn’t find a previous topic in my search.

Anyhoo, my friends and I have this site, https://www.metrolitemusic.co.uk/main/, and on the right you can see where our WordPress journals are. We really, really want to eliminate the horizontal scrollbars. Any advice?

  • Are you talking about the bars under “latest news” and “metro news”?

What command/s are you using to create those boxes? Inline text? If so, have you tried adjusting the width of your inline text box and your source page?

    Yes, those bars.

They’re in iframes if that helps any. The frame is as big as it can get without it getting weird.

I’m not totally familiar with iframes, so maybe someone else with some more experience (or a Google search) might be of more help.

But here are a few ideas I would explore…
Is there “source text”? If so, can you modify this at all? Specifically the width of the page or the size of the font.

Perhaps there is a javascript or some similar code that will remove scrollbars, or just one scrollbar, from the iframe area.

Good luck, your site looks great so far! ??

Have tried removing the content from the boxes – that should get rid of the scroll bars. If the content is too large, then it makes sense that scroll bars would appear.

    Set overflow to hidden.
