    Thanks, Bill. I am a true novice with WP, and paying the learning curve dues. How do I implement this code, in the Appearance/editor? Can I do it directly in the text editor on the content section?

    Oh, sorry about that! When you said you placed the lines yourself, I thought you meant you just couldn’t find it in your styles.

    You’ll either want to use a custom css plugin (which you can find here), or put it in the style sheet of a child theme. If you have Jetpack installed, you can use its Custom CSS module.
