Horizontal line appearing in image with tag

As you can see in the image, there is a horizontal line in the middle of the image when I put the (a href) in the code.
When my mouse goes over the image the horizontal line disappears. When I remove the (a href) the horizontal line disappears.
Does anyone have any suggestions to try? I would like this image to be the logo.
