Horizontal Layout Function Code not working

    Guys, please help. This has been driving me mad.

    I input the function for a horizontal layout in my child themes functions.php file, but the rss feed still displays vertically. I’m just using a child theme of the twentyfourteen default theme from wordpress. In English, because I’m a newbie, can anybody explain to me why this isn’t working or know an easy fix? Also, maybe even explain how I input the scroll bar code in there as well?

    Figured it out, needed to put the inline CSS and dequeue the default plugin CSS style sheet code in the theme functions.php file. Then the Horizontal Function finally worked.
