Horizontal & Vertical Images

  • Hi,
    A friend of mine is deigning my site for me using wordpress. Within my site I have GALLERY’s that will contain photos. In some galleries though there will be both vertical and horizontal images.. My question is this… mostly the photos will be horizontal, but when I WANT to put a vertical picture in, can I change the orientation of hte thumbnail to vertical so I can see the whole image or doe sit have to stay in the horizontal format ( where I can only see part of the vertical image ) . I am only new here and apologise if this question has been asked before.
