HOOPS Parameters

  • I love HOOPS. I am using it with Custom Content Shortcode.

    I read though the source and don’t think I saw any way to do this but…
    Can I pass a param into a [HOOP]?

    Here’s what I can do with Custom Content Shortcode.
    [PASS field=”post_type”]
    [LOOP type=”{FIELD}”][/LOOP]
    [/PASS]
    The ability to re-use the HOOP is a huge win.
    It would be super cool if I could wrap a LOOP in a HOOP and pass in some parameters specific to use.

    Is this already possible?
    If not I will likely branch your GIT and make it happen.

    No, I didn’t include that kind of functionality (It’s not currently possible to do what you say), but you are certainly welcome to fork the plugin. ?? That’s why it’s GPL.

    I have been planning on extending the plugin with all kinds of ideas, but never get around to it. If I get around to it one day…
