Hooks to add badge?

  • Hi there!

    We are wanting to create more options to add badges for actions in different plugins.

    What are the steps required/how would that be possible?

    Mostly, we are stuck at being able to have the badge display on the achievement list. What is the hook or the process for doing that?

    Are you talking about adding more custom steps needed to earn an achievement? Or are you talking about something on the frontend display for users?

    We are wanting to add more custom steps to earn an achievement, yes. This would be on the backend, not on the front end (I believe this functionality is already in place).

    Admittedly, we don’t have any sort of guide or tutorial set up to help walking people through that topic.

    What I’d end up doing to try and work out all the necessary parts would be checking out something like the Community Addon(link at the end) as an example for adding extra step options and how it handles checking for completion etc. I believe I have majority of the steps needed in my head, but I haven’t gotten them down in a post, and to clarify, I’m not the person who’s added step options to the various BadgeOS addons in the past, that was someone else who did those at the time.

    Like mentioned, best bet right now would be looking over another plugin that adds its own.
