HookPress not working with Zapier

  • Hey there! Not only am I a zapier employee but I’m also a user of hookpress myself and use it in conjunction with zapier.

    One typical problem most people run into is that you need to activate your zap first so that it can catch hooks. Once that is done you can modify the zap to suit your needs.

    James – do you know if its possible to use Zapier to create a new user in WordPress with HookPress?

    Hey Kyle,

    Unfortunately hookpress is pretty much one-way (pushes events to zapier via webhooks) and the XML-RPC API doesn’t expose this capability.

    Sorry to jump in but since I see the conversation is fresh I was wondering if I could some help from you James.

    Am trying to use Zapier to push the information of a new wordpress user into a new contact of Microsoft Dynamics CRM. Any suggestions where to start?
