    Hello,

I’d like to enable the Honeypot extension, because lately I’m having a lot of comment spam issues (my comment section is open, but every comment needs to be manually approved).

I checked the extension description page and the compatibility section says that it supports WP versions up to v5.2.2 and TSF versions up to v4.0.0.

I’m running the latest WP and TSF versions. Can I safely enable the extension anyway?

    Thank you.

    Hello again!

It’s unlikely that our code is not forward-compatible with our plugins or WordPress. When changes cause issues, we’ll patch it before the final version is realized for the public.

Both WP & TSF use MAJOR.MAJOR.minor versioning; minor updates should never cause compatibility issues.

So, to answer your question: Yes. When you hover over the “compatibility” item in your dashboard, you’ll see more information on this rating.

In the future, please reach out to our other support channels linked in your dashboard; these forums aren’t meant for the Extension Manager plugin. Thank you!

    Hello, Sybre.

Thank you very much for your prompt reply. I appreciate it.

I forgot that there’s a dedicated place for premium plugins. Sorry. ??

    All the best.
