Honeypot caused a field with a number above it to appear under contact form 7

    I am currently working on a pre-inscription form for a client and i am using cleantalk because we were getting a lot of spam entries from the form. The form was made by using contact form 7. The issue is that when i enabled the honeypot option it caused a number and field to appear under the submit button. When i turn the honeypot off, it goes away. Here is an example:

    The other issue is that even if i turn off the honeypot and i put in a valid email address the form is not submitted. I get this message everytime: *** Forbidden. Your request has been detected as spam. *** Please let me know what is the issue for these two problems that i am having. Thanks.

    Hello,

    Seems like your theme is changing?CSS?scripts?and breaking CleanTalk hide field?scripts. Unfortunately, we can’t fix this from the plugin’s side, you can try to fix?CSS?scripts?on your side.

    As for the second issue, please try to set the ‘Set cookies’ option to ‘Off’ here:

    WordPress Dashboard -> Settings -> Antispam by Cleantalk -> Advanced settings

    DO you think that the coming soon might be blocking the css? Will it be possible for you to send me the css from your side?

    This field should have type=”hidden”. Unfortunately, we can’t fix it on your website, please check how it should work on Contact Form 7 on the standard theme and try to do the same for your theme.
