Honestly nothing wrong

I chose this theme to use for building a client site and it’s worked out pretty well. Don’t get me wrong, there was a decent amount of setup involved in getting it to work as I wanted. It’s not all self explanatory, the theme does not hold your hand through getting your desired design. It seems counter intuitive to be meeting the needs of the theme, rather than the theme meeting your needs, but if you take the time to give the theme what it wants you can end up with a good looking site. Really the home page is the only tricky part. In the end, the amount of effort I had to put in to familiarize myself with the theme’s features and customize the CSS to my liking were fair and the result was satisfactory.

I did notice the nivoSlider script works in the demo and works out of the box with the theme unconfigured, but as soon as you put your own slides in the automatic rotation stops and you have to use the navigation to slide between images manually. I sent this feedback to the theme creator’s website in hopes that it gets fixed.

I’m giving this 4/5 stars because the theme looks good and works well for my end users, but it was not easy to configure.
