Homepage with widgets

    Hello Fruitful crew! ??

    I’ve been working for a couple of days now with your theme, but I can’t seem to work out how I can get widgets shown on my homepage.

    My homepage is a static page called Home and I want to show a simple text/html-widget in the left or right sidebar.

    I already googled for a solution en tried several things, also already saw this post:

    Tried it, but unfortunately doesn’t work. I tried renaming the specific file with filezilla, also tried removing it…. but without any success. I thought that maybe the problem could be solved in the page editor under “Page settings” –> “Layout”, but when I click on layout nothing happens….

    so…. I’m kinda stuck here, hoping you could help me out!!! ??

    You can choose page settings with sidebar on homepage the same as for other pages.

    Yeah, I thought exactly the same. But when I’m editing a page I only see the word “Layout” under page settings. I can click it, but then nothing happens?

    I think the problem is caused by the theme… when I active another theme, the page settings are available. When I activate fruitful again, my page settings are not working anymore…
