Homepage Stuck, Please help!

  • My homepage won’t update and it’s stuck on the date of 2013-06-23 19:49:59 If someone can please help me fix this homepage not changing issue I would greatly appreciate it.

    Here’s the code for my .htaccess currently. I’ve troubleshooted all of the regular things that people have suggested such as deactiviting plugins, refreshing browser cache but nothing has been able to fix it.

    I’ve done that and nothing’s working. But While looking in my cpanel I did notice that I had two .htaccess files. One was named .htaccess and the other was htaccess.old I found that a little strange?

    I also have a feeling that this had to do with a rewriterule but I can’t seem to figure it out.

    Did you follow the plugin author’s instructions when deactivating your caching plugin?

    I normally just click deactive and delete it but I just noticed that there are steps to it. I’m on step four now “Remove the Super Cache mod_rewrite rules from your .htaccess file” What exactly am I removing?

    You’d need to ask the plugin developer about that but I’m pretty sure that is what you did when this newer .htaccess file was created.

    Oh ok, Well I just went through the whole process and nothing changed back or fixed it. I know this is a lot to ask of you but do you think you could possible take a look at it for me? or at least the reasoning behind my homepage acting this way?

    Also what I’m finding in the source of my homepage is that it’s supercached.
