Homepage Static Page Looks Different

  • Hello! I have the Dara theme and I’m having a difficult time with my homepage post. I have text wrapping and a smaller size photo in the html coding and it looks great in the Edit area. However, it looks completely different on the website. The image stays to the left and the text is below it. Any suggestions on how to ensure the coding works on the page once published?

    This doesn’t sound like a theme issue, but rather just a normal issue of post appearance in the editor not exactly matching post appearance on the live site.

    That said, your site is using WordPress.com. This forum is for the self-hosted version of the team. For help with your site, please contact WordPress.com support at https://wordpress.com/help/contact instead. The support staff on WordPress.com has access to your site’s dashboard, so if you include a link to the exact post where you’re having this problem they can take a look and tell you how to fix it.

    Thanks for the heads up! Thought this was in the Dara-themed forum.

    It is the Dara forum, but specifically for the self-hosted version of the theme. The WordPress.com version you’re using does not work exactly the same.
