Homepage Slug

Thanks for reaching out.

It is expected that when you set a static page to be the homepage of your site, WordPress hides it from the URL. It is also expected that when you check your homepage slug from the Quick Edit option or if you use the block editor, you will still see the slug of the homepage.

So whatever you set as the slug for your homepage will reflect that, but when it loads for a user, it will just appear without the slug or just as your top-level domain name. In that sense, we can say slug remains hidden, so we don’t treat this as an issue of concern.

Does it apply to the slug in google search results page as well?

Does the slug for your homepage show on the Google Search Results page?

I′m using Yoast SEO in Elementor and the slug shows in the search appearance.

There is the link: https://www.trenerzlin.cz/yoast-seo. It shows the Yoast SEO settings of my homepage and the slug is next to my domain name.

Can you also share a screenshot of what you have in WordPress > Settings > Reading?

I found my page on Google and there is no slug, thank you for the help.

I thought there might be Domu because it′s what Yoast SEO shows in the Search appearance when I use Elementor.
