Homepage slider

  • Hi,

    How do I create a slider for the homepage? This is a nice theme, but creating a slider has been challenging. I downloaded the proper plugin, but how do I get the slider on the homepage?

    You do not have to add any third party plugin for creating the slider. Please check this documentation link and go to the homepage settings instruction and follow the instruction kindly to configure your slider.

    Hi Ben,

    Those instructions say:

    “To configure homepage first install and activate the plugin “Page Builder by SiteOrigin”.

    But you say I do not need a third party plugin. I’m confused…
    I have switched to a new theme because of this, but I would like to stick with vmagazine. I’m not a newby, so this has been quite irritating lol.

    I just want to add a slider to the top of the homepage.

    Thank you for writing in “Page Builder by SiteOrigin” is the recommended plugin and you have to add the slider and the other section in your homepage with the help of this plugin because all the section and the slider are configured via widgets.

    We have suggested that the theme does not need the other third party plugin that used to display the slider. The theme has prebuilt slider widgets you can use with the help of “Page Builder”.
