Homepage showing blank screen

I’ve been getting various blank pages (from WP 2.7.1) on the IIS server I’m hosting on. From what I’ve read over the past three or four days, it’s either incomplete (corrupt) php code (bad upload/partial upload of a file) or it has to do with your IIS server’s mod_security settings.

Since I’m on a shared hosting environment, I don’t have access to or control over changing my mod_security settings. If you’re running your own server you might want to turn the mod_security off and test to see if they work. If so, that was probably the issue.

If I dont use permalinks then https://www.mysitehere.com works fine.

https://www.mysitehere.com/index.php works fine with permalinks enabled and my home page is shown. But when https://www.mysitehere.com is viewed then I get that blank white page.

If I disable the permalink option then https://www.mysite.com is fine.

Im baffled….could there be something wrong with the wp-404-handler.php file thats making the home page become blank?

The article has a fix for IIS 7 and im running IIS 6. Is there a fix for that?

Hi guys,

Im still having problems with my homepage not showing up when permalinks are enabled, everything else works fine apart from the homepage.

My permalinks are working fine its just the homepage eg. https://www.mysitehere.com that is showing a blank screen.

I am so confused.

Still searching but cant find an answer to the problem.
