Homepage 'recent-posts' only show up when logged in.
-
So I’m using a
<del>pirated</del>
3.2.3 version of the X theme, to mess around a bit before deciding to buy the actual theme. My website is https://www.MarcTjoeFat.nl ( it’s sort of a personal booklist ).
* As you can see, my homepage does not have any posts loaded on it.
* The sidebar should have the recent books, because I inserted a ‘recent-posts’-tagHowever, on pages like ‘great books’, the ‘recent-posts’-tag does seem to work.
On my homepage I used this code to load my recent posts:
[recent_posts type=”post” category=”articles” count=”4″ offset=”” orientation=”horizontal” fade=”true”]
The plugin I use is called X-shortcuts I think.
I’ve tried disabling all plugins, but that doesn’t seem to have an impact.
This is all very weird, but now it gets weirder. When I log in, the site seems to be working perfectly!
Does anyone recognize this problem or have any suggestions to try?
Things I’ve tried:
– Different browser / computer
– Deactivating all plugins
– Switch to another theme -> This worked, so it’s a theme-specific problem I think?
– Privatized the page and un-privatized it.( Don’t know why )( Didn’t work )
– Switched static page ( Didn’t work )
