Homepage Preview Link shows Just another WordPress site

  • Whenever I share the link to my page on Facebook, Instagram, or Whatsapp, instead of seeing the information I input in Site Identity and in Yoast SEO / Search Appearance, I see: “Just another WordPress site / Uncategorized Hello world! By…” and no image. I tried debugging it but it didn’t work. When I try to access my page from a shared link on my phone, it doesn’t even take me to it but to some raw version of it, without a theme installed. Could that be my theme’s issue (Elegant Pink) or a Yoast-related problem?
    The preview did work two days ago and I somehow managed to make it work today but then it went back to the same, “Just another WordPress site” description.
    This only happens with the homepage, not with the post pages.

  • It looks like everything is working for me. If it’s still giving you problems please copy/paste those shared links that dont seem to work.
