Hi I have employed your theme at Adventurebods.com – I love it (but just have not gotten around to changing the Nepal promotion as yet ?? )
But on a serious note the Homepage posts categories are not filtering. I have added a category called Tweets, posts of which I don’t want displayed front page. The post: “5 things you didn’t know about ‘Bizarre foods'”, is one such post that has been assigned only the Tweets category and that category is not selected in the filter Homepage posts categories conditions. Yet display it does.
Any fix that you could suggest would be appreciated.
    Thanks.

@callmeandy: It should work fine in Homepage as it’s working fine in our server.

About the nepal demo image and content. The slider image is from Featured Post Slider. See the detail instructions at https://catchthemes.com/blog/videos-blog/video-series-adding-featured-post-slider/

Then the popular post is called “Homepage Featured Content” and you can add your own content from “Appearance => Theme Options => Homepage Settings => Homepage Featured Content Options”.

Hey thanks for coming back to me. Guess I will just have to go through the routine of disabling all the plugins to find where the conflict is then. As regards the homepage slider stuff there is no issue with that I was laughing at myself because I simply haven’t reconfigured it yet. It hasn’t been a priority as its theme sits comfortably with the site without it looking so strange.

Back to the real issue of filtering, I will report back if the problem is cleared or not after disabling the plugins.

Ok this is resolved – it turns out that in spite of setting the theme options In Catch Kathmandu for “Frontpage settings” to latest posts, you still need to do the same thing with wordpress in “settings -> reading”; that is change it to latest posts. I assumed it was setting that for some reason via the theme setting, but not so, and as the static home page to which WP was pointing had a residue shortcode outputting posts I failed to see what was truly creating the output.

    As I said cool theme.
