Homepage picture

  • Hi,

    I am fairly new to WordPress so please excuse the lack of technical jargon!

    I am struggling to remove/edit the blank space that shows up on the homepage of my blog above the newest post. I am unsure of how to insert a picture. Please can someone help with this?
