Homepage perfect on backend on preview not-so-perfect

  • So I’m editing away on an Astra template the page looks great all images showing nicely, text in blocks all looks great. Then when I go to preview the page to see what it looks like it is totally different. I cannot figure out what has gone wrong. Why would it all show up beautifully in editing mode and then look nothing like that in preview?

    Hi @coleraine, that doesn’t sound awesome. It could be a few things, so let’s try and work down a list to get to where maybe we find the issue.

    First, was this working before the release last night? It might not have been, but just checking to be sure. Maybe also the theme Astra needs updating because of that update, it might not, although worth considering.

    If that isn’t the problem, it might be something either in the theme or in a combination of the theme and a plugin. I want to just check, is it using https://wpastra.com/?
