Homepage partially breaks after 1.2.4 update

Hello,
I’m running into a strange issue after installing the latest (1.2.4) update of your plugin. v1.2.4 partially breaks the homepage of a site I have been updating for someone. All short codes and elements using JavaScript completely disappear from the page. Even the WordPress tool bar has disappeared, however all other pages on the site seem to work just fine.

Pulling up the Chrome Inspection page, the only error that shows up is:

Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 500 (Internal Server Error)  (index):1

Reverting back to v1.2.3 does not fix the issue. The only way I have been able to get the site back to normal is by using the local backup that GoDaddy provides with their managed WordPress hosting.
