Homepage not refreshing / updating

  • Not sure if this is the right forum for my question. Please let me know if not!

    Problem is that my homepage is not updating. When I post a new article (as you can see in https://www.birdclubkatwijk.nl/index.php/artikelenarchief/) the new article is not appearing on the homepage.

    The homepage is ‘frozen’ and shows an article from June this year.

    I use W3 Total cache. Clearing cache does not help.

    My knowlegde of WordPress is not ultragreat. It would be great if somebody knows an answer to this problem.

  • Hi Andre,

    If you go into Settings> Reading – have a look and see if you chose to have a ‘static’ front page?

    If you did and you have published a new article on a page you can choose that page as your new static home page.

    If you did and you have published a new article on a post you can choose to have your blog posts on the home page

    Hi Skelch.

    No, the setting was not on “static”.

    But… I saw another setting about max number of articles. It was on 10. I changed it to 20…. And now I see the most recent article!! YES!!

    Oh no!!! I made a mistake…. If I press the option “View site” in WordPress I see the proper homepage. If I surf to the homepage in another browser it is still on the wrong article ??
