Homepage not mobile friendly Google Console

  • I recently finished a small informative website using Zakra theme. All works well except the homepage keeps getting “not mobile friendly” errors, clickable elements too close together and text too small to read in Google console.

    All other pages works great and indexed correctly. While I made no major changes to the theme, except color changes and photo replacements although, the homepage works correctly on various mobile devices tested physically.
    I changed some link spaces, made adjustments ro the content and images for mobile but still the same errors occur. I’m at a loss here.

    Can you let me know where did you test the responsiveness? While checking Zakra Main demo and your site in Google Search Console, I find no error here.

    In the mobile friendly test it states that the page is indeed mobile friendly but in Google Search Console it says the URL is available but has issues with the “not mobile friendly” error. I have a few other websites also using Zakra theme but they’re all mobile friendly in the URL inspection section of search console.
