Homepage Latest Posts – Set Category

If you use Gutenberg you can achieve what you want via query loop block. With other PageBuilders there is something similar. Unfortunately you didn’t post a link to your page nor did you provide such information, so it’s not possible to help you more precisely. On the homepage, you scroll through the latest blog posts. However, I only want blog posts from a certain category to show up on the right.

As I am using the setting within read for “homepage = show latest posts” I need to find a way to adjust that “rule” to say, show recent posts, but only from category X

You use a feature of your theme for this display. Given the special visual representation, you probably won’t be able to implement what you want with this theme any other way.
