Homepage item slider not updating

Hi, thanks for creating this theme.

I have really had no problems with it so far, however, about 2-3 weeks ago, items would not show up on the homepage slider even if they were the newest product. Normally products that are new-old would show up on the slider, however that is not happening. It now takes about a week for them to show up – not sure why? I have made sure that the product itself is visible and everything is good. It seems it only shows up when I am logged in. I have already cleared the entire site cache and everything. I just need to know how to fix this issue.
