• This is the first time I’ve ran into this issue with WordPress. The homepage will not display on a desktop computer. I’ve tried different browsers and get the same results on all of them.

I can visit a direct link to one of the inner pages and it shows up no problem, but the home page will not display. It simply shows a blank white page with absolutely no content. I tried switching themes, and I got the same exact results.

The url is https://houstoncarpetkeepers.com. If anyone is having this issue or can help me understand what is wrong, I would be greatly appreciative.

  • Can you replicate the problem using the default Twenty Fourteen theme with all plugins deactivated? Try checking your site’s error logs for messages. Your hosts should be able to help you accessing your site’s error logs.

FWIW, your site displays a white screen on any device, including a desktop, for me :(.

Are you sure your site isn’t down? Try clearing your browser cache.

The weirdest thing just happened. I actually Activated all of my plugins and it’s now working. I need to go through each plugin now and deactivate them to see which one is causing the issue.

    Thanks for your help.

Just mentioning, maybe the mobile/desktop difference could have been because your cellphone provide had proxified/cached your blog to reduce the network usage of his members. You might have NOT been browsing a fully “current” version of your blog from your mobile. It’s known to happen.
