[NSFW] Homepage ignored, Latest blog instead

    Hi,
    I have set a static page (Home) as homepage.
    But when showing the website, it gets ignored, instead the latest blog is shown (without the images/media).

    Even when I edit the Home page and do a preview it shows the latest blog.

    Anyone any idea?

  • This could also be theme dependent. You could change to a standard theme and see if it changes then. A link to the page might help to recognize something.

    Changing to one of the standard WordPress themes doesn’t make a difference.

    I don’t see any posts on the home page. This is a normal page with continuous text. Do you have a shortcode or block in this page that displays a post?

    You helped me quite a lot. It’s indeed caused by a shortcode.
    I actually have 2 shortcodes there – same plugin, showing different post types – the 1st one is causing the problem, the 2nd works properly.

    I’ll close it here, and I’ll figure this out with the help of the plugin support.
